Shape and Poetry
So tonight I decided it would be brilliant to write a poem in the shape of a Taxi (like a car, yeah…) because what is more ‘normal’ and ‘everyday’ than a taxi? Granted, it wasn’t a London taxi, it was a New York Taxi (big and yellow), but a taxi nonetheless. So the everyday line was one I pulled from a TV show actually… ‘Rufus hails a cab’. It then became the ‘hood’ of the car. Easily done. That said, I haven’t figured out word art enough yet to make it much more than what it is, but it looks nice in handwriting.
So no poem to read really because the shape is necessary, and I need help with that one, but it’ll come. Tomorrow, a new line with a more easily shaped poem.
